Η Mira (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) πενθεί τον θάνατο του αρραβωνιαστικού της και εκτονώνεται με ρομαντικά μηνύματα που στέλνει στον παλιό του αριθμό. Δεν γνωρίζει, όμως, ότι αυτός ο αριθμός ανήκει πια στον δημοσιογράφο Rob (Sam Heughan), που συγκινείται από την ειλικρίνεια σε αυτά τα όμορφα κι εξομολογητικά μηνύματα. Όταν ο Rob αναλαμβάνει να γράψει ένα άρθρο για τη Celine Dion, ζητάει τη βοήθειά της θρυλικής σταρ προκειμένου να βρει έναν τρόπο να συναντήσει τη Mira από κοντά... και να της κλέψει την καρδιά.
